Perfect! Thank you more um time. Just for exemplify, here in my country, the default set to oil change is 6000km!.. But now BMW don't will take me so much money in so less time…
they can check the reset counter using their obd scanner but that will only give them the number of times its been done, not whos done it or how. they usually just check the service books to see if its been stamped by a dealership or not.
if youre worrying about any non-dealer work on your car 'voiding the warranty'- dont. make sure you use genuine parts, approved fluids and keep your receipts and dates of work written down and you are 100% sweet. in order for dealerships to refuse a warranty claim based on non-delaer work they need to prove its not been serviced or service wrong.
