I have cls 55 2006 when I get to the MPH and press reset button 3X nothing shows up..how do I get this fixed??

I have a 2005 CLK 240 and I need to reset the service indicator as ji has been serviced but the indicator was not reset. I followed your (very good) video and get to the point where the battery health indicator is displayed. I can scroll up and down and see the VIN and other items but can not arrive at the service menu and the mileage panel at the bottom does not show the symbols. Has something been blocked and can I overcome the problem. Thanks for your help.
