Steps:
1. Hold trip reset button
2. While still holding button (step 1.) turn on contact (not the ignition!)
3. Keep holding the button until prompted for inspection service reset message (when message is shown release the button)
4. Push buton to comfirm reset
5. Turn off contact
6. Turn on contact to see service prompt is gone

Hi, I noticed a tikking sound when you turned on the ignition. Do you know what this is? I have the same noise in my car, when i start up. I believe it comes from the vent. But it seems like its there only when the car is cold.
My "milage" was only 43km more when i tested this on my octavia. Worked like a charm! Thank you!

Keep in mind that if you reset the message like this you will not receive another message regarding the oil change or the next inspection
Ensure the ignition is off
Press and hold the trip meter button
Turn on the ignition
Release the trip meter button when the service message appears
Twist the trip meter button once to the right
Service indicator remin
