  1. Thank you for sharing your obvious skills with us. I wanted to get your thoughts on the issues on my recently purchased 2011 Audi A3 2.0 TDI. These diesel gate cars seemed to be a good buy with a supposedly great warranty. I now find myself with a car with a DPF filter code, a EGR code, hydra lock issues and coolant fan issues. The Audi dealership says warranty won’t cover them because the codes are “intermittent”. I know someone like you could fix these issues. Audi, however requires a Audi dealership for warranty repairs. The car is running well at the present time however. I know that’s a big can of worms, but I thought you might have dealt with Audi or have any suggestions . Again, thank you for your videos.

  3. Nice diagnostic, it's good that you have the same model car to quickly prove your instincts by temporarily swapping parts.

    Have you ever considered teaching nights at a trade school? You have a talent for explaining things and demonstrating the logical diagnostic process.

  4. Well done on the diag! The turbo vanes are most likely a bit sticky too, as it's probably been driven with a bad MAF sensor for a while. The yellow paint marker circle on the old MAF most likely means it was from a junkyard.
