The S setting on these older mercs designates standard, C is for comfort. Standard does what it says, comfort locks out 1st gear for a more relaxed pull away. I always thought S was for sport too until I read the manual.

I had an ‘03 CL55 with the same motor. Sold it due to the headaches of the ABC hydrolic suspension. It was an absolute missile on the highway, though. Miss that motor. Bulletproof.
That RS6 ruined your video lol also I must admit these (type) of cars are in fact totally wasted outside of the autobahn, where on earth can you enjoy the top end speed of these awesome cars, such a shame we have no autobahn in the UK, just speed cameras :/

Much respect to the size of your balls. I had a modified CLS55, if I’m honest I sold it because the torque to horsepower ratio was constantly working against traction to get the car going from a start.
I switched to a C5 RS6, although not as reliable as the Merc, it puts all of the power down all day long.

Just so you know, S means Standard, car starts in 1st gear. C is Comfort, starts in 2nd.
Ik vind dit de mooiste E-klasse tot nu toe. De sedan iets mooier, maar deze estate is ook prachtig.
What an amazing car. I have the 5 cylinder diesel. 2003. Only 177bhp but it eats up long journeys in comfort.

Legend! I remember we drove 326km/h on the speedo in France with my dads E63 AMG 6.2. It was a saloon with also no top speed limiter. He lost his license after that and he was not allowed to drive in the France for several years XD
They had 2 different Versions of this Engine. One had 476 and the other 500 HP, i think u just have the bigger one =)
I wish I'd never sold my C43 AMG T Modell for a C63s, My C43 owed me nothing I had it for 15 years and drove and looked like new.

This is for real the best looking Estate of all time!! Such a timeless Design. S211 one of the best Mercedes i think, after the W124. I have a Estate E350 with the AMG Packet. Also in Silver, loving it deeply. You feel like you sit in your living room so smooth it is. And 272hp from 3,5 liters without a turbo is crazy for me and drive like a charm. Buy one people you never regret it.
